Maine Medical Center Selects MicroPact's Case Management Platform for the Department of Vocational Services

entellitrak to Streamline Service Delivery Across Multiple Programs

HERNDON, Va.--()--Maine Medical Center’s Department of Vocational Services has selected MicroPact, the global leader in Data-First™ case management and business process management (BPM) software, to configure and deploy entellitrak® as its case management solution. The web-based system will enable the department’s Employment Specialists (ESs) and Community Work Incentives Coordinators (CWICs) to help individuals with a wide variety of physical and mental disabilities achieve employment of their choice in their community, throughout the state of Maine.

Maine Medical Center offers multiple vocational programs for individuals with disabilities as well as training and technical assistance for eligible agencies, employers, and schools throughout the state. Programs include benefits counseling for recipients of Social Security disability benefits, community-based employment services for people with mental illness, and individual job development and employment assistance for individuals referred by the State of Maine.

Each of these programs requires flexible case management features including referrals, intake, assessment, staff assignment, individualized plan development and coordination, documentation, reporting, and case termination. Clients meet with their ES to obtain employment and their CWIC to understand how work will impact Social Security and related benefits; DVS staff record information such as meeting notes, progress toward plan goals, job starts and terminations, raises, and benefit changes.

entellitrak will be used to capture all information for each program in a single system with a central database, so individuals enrolled in one program can easily be moved to another program as their needs change. System administrators will assign role-based security levels, define data objects and business rules, and configure workflows based on these elements tailored to each program. In addition to capturing all elements of each case, the system will track the employers of clients, annual satisfaction surveys, as well as training and professional development activity, including time and expenses. With little training, users will be able to create their own reports and assessments based on standard templates and forms.

“We are pleased to offer a solution to help Maine Medical Center and other providers administer much-needed services more efficiently,” said Kris Collo, CEO of MicroPact. “As a low-code application development platform purpose-built for case management, entellitrak is ideally suited to vocational services delivery. Because the system is so flexible, it can be easily adapted to changing program needs and regulations without changes to the source code.”
