In addition, CashStar’s Senior Director of Product Engineering, John Sterling, will be presenting a lightning workshop during the week-long event being held June 19-23 in Portland.
The kickoff panel will focus on the most important question every entrepreneur needs to address – what problem will I solve? During their presentation, Smith, Glover and Rogers will discuss how talent, team and means are all vital components to high-growth and high-impact businesses, but learning how to direct those resources toward successfully solving a real-world problem is the difference between a bust and a unicorn. The session, “How do you identify the right problem to solve?” will be held on Monday, June 19 at 9am.
In the lightning workshop, “Company Culture: Building Great Teams While Flying the Plane,” Sterling will discuss how a healthy team culture is an important element for reaching a team’s goals. He will illustrate how great team and workplace cultures don’t happen by accident, and while the values of a leader can help drive culture, it takes more than the CEO to achieve the culture you desire. The session is being held on Tuesday, June 20 at 10:45am.
