LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Water and Power Community Credit Union of Los Angeles is pleased to announce the addition of Joanna Oliva to its team as Chief Financial Officer. Joanna brings to the credit union over fifteen years of progressive executive leadership experience in strategic planning, risk management, finance, and operations management.
Prior to joining Water and Power Community Credit Union, Joanna contributed to the growth, and sustainable structuring of organizations in the Energy, Construction, and Financial Services industries. She successfully implemented strategic initiatives, strengthened balance sheets, and furthered leadership objectives by engaging employees and promoting organizational alignment. Most recently, Joanna served as Chief Financial Officer for Northwest Federal Credit Union where she was instrumental in the organization’s turnaround and growth success.
Joanna holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Stanford University. In addition, she continued her studies in strategy and leadership development at Wharton, Thunderbird School of Global Management, London School of Business, and the Center for Creative Leadership.
