AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Identropy, a leading security consulting firm that specializes in advisory, implementation, and managed services for Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, and SailPoint, the leader in enterprise identity management, today announced that SailPoint has certified two different plug-ins that Identropy has developed as part of the SailPoint Identity+ Alliance.
LogNotify: Monitors SailPoint IdentityIQTM logs and issues alerts for configurable events and errors.
TaskNotify: Integrates with the SailPoint IdentityIQ task scheduling subsystem and automatically notifies administrators if tasks are hung or behaving abnormally.
Both plug-ins send notifications via email and through Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) systems such as ZenDesk, ServiceNow, and PagerDuty, allowing security and IT administrators to react to operational issues in real-time. They are a key mechanism for more richly integrating SailPoint IdentityIQ into the fabric of a customer’s IT environment to create an “identity-aware” infrastructure.
This announcement signals the strengthening of the existing partnership between the two firms as Identropy was already a SailPoint reseller and has staff that is certified to conduct customer proofs-of-concept (POCs) and deliver training on SailPoint’s behalf.
Identropy and SailPoint are also expanding their joint global footprint through their partner ecosystem. They recently both entered into an agreement with NetBR, a leading security and identity technology reseller servicing the Latin American and European markets. This expands their joint coverage in the Americas and into Europe.
“We believe SailPoint represents the state-of-the-art in the Identity Governance and Administration market,” said Victor Barris, founder and CEO of Identropy. “Building deep integrations on SailPoint’s platform to help customers adopt an identity-centric security posture is a natural evolution of our innovation-driven culture.”
“Partners have always been a cornerstone of our go-to-market strategy,” said Joe Gottlieb, SVP of corporate development at SailPoint. “Our customers rely on the expertise and innovation of partners like Identropy to extend and maximize the value they get from the SailPoint platform, and we are pleased with the initiative and expertise Identropy brings to bear on our solution.”
Andre Facciolli, CEO of NetBr, validated the value of the partnership by stating “We are constantly monitoring the technology landscape for best-of-breed solutions to bring to our customers, and we believe the joint offering from Identropy and SailPoint represents world-class IGA technology and expertise which we are excited to bring to the Latin American and European markets.”
