NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Expanded EEO-1 reporting will require employers to manage yet another sneakily hard compliance challenge to ensure fair working practices. To help businesses complete the extended gender- and race-based reporting requirements set by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), SyncStream Solutions has released EEO-1 Comply, the first intelligent solution for EEO-1 compliance reporting.
The newest EEO-1 requirements are meant to discover and track potential wage gaps and hour disparities based on gender and race. With some exceptions, private employers with 100 or more employees and federal contractors with 50 or more employees will have to complete an EEO-1 report each year, tracking racial, gender, salary, and hourly information.
2017 will be the first year the EEO-1 report requires a combination of salary information from employers and self-reported data from employees on gender and race. This additional salary information has extended the report from two to eight pages. To meet these new requirements, organizations must collate information from several sources, in a way existing in-house systems aren’t equipped to handle.
Pulling from its experience in creating intelligent solutions for complex regulations such as the Affordable Care Act (ACA), SyncStream has developed EEO-1 Comply to aggregate, organize, and translate data from employers, employees, and payroll into reportable EEO-1 information. The solution also tracks individual employee responses for the self-submitted portions of reporting, all through an easy-to-use dashboard. EEO-1 Comply will ensure full auditability after the reporting deadline of March 31, 2018.
“SyncStream Solutions has a strong history of helping employers navigate complicated reporting requirements,” said Cindy Heine, President of SyncStream. “Our experience in boiling tough compliance requirements down to business-friendly, intelligent solutions has helped thousands of employers fulfill more than 2 million ACA forms. EEO-1 reporting is no different; we’ve created a solution that can streamline the process for this new and complex requirement, saving organizations valuable time and resources while maintaining bulletproof auditability.”
EEO-1 Comply will be available June 14 to prepare for the 2017 reporting season. For more information on the regulation and EEO-1 Comply, join SyncStream Solutions for a webinar on June 14 at 3 p.m. EDT. Register to attend.
