TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eyelit Inc., a manufacturing software provider for visibility, control, and coordination of manufacturing operations for the aerospace and defense, discrete electronics, life sciences, medical device, semiconductor, and photovoltaic (solar) industries, announced today record revenue for the first quarter of 2017 as well as a significant increase in company profitability.
Business Results
With over 30% top-line growth, Eyelit had its highest first-quarter revenue in the company’s history. The company realized growth in all key business segments. Revenue from software license sales increased by over 40%, recurring maintenance/support revenue increased by over 20%, and services revenue increased by more than 30% year over year. A pivotal MES migration sales win with a major semiconductor foundry was the highlight of the quarter, adding to Eyelit’s impressive list of MES replacement successes. Continued investments and new projects initiated by existing enterprise customers in key technologies, such as battery manufacturing and backend semiconductor (assembly and test), helped drive increases in both revenue and profit.
“We are very happy with our first quarter results and are projecting significant growth for the year,” stated Dan Estrada, Eyelit’s Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. “We expect to finish with more than a 40% growth in full year over year revenue. We have several new implementations started, along with a strong sales pipeline that should deliver additional revenue for the rest of 2017 and 2018.
