TOLEDO, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hylant, one of the nation's largest privately owned insurance brokerage firms, today announced that Jim Stengle has assumed a newly created role within the Employee Benefits Practice. Jim is Senior Vice President, Employee Benefits Business Development Manager, and will be located in the Toledo corporate headquarters.
With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance and managed healthcare industries, Jim will provide coaching, training and mentoring to new employee benefits client executives across the entire Hylant footprint.

Jim previously served as a national faculty member for the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research and has developed continuing education coursework in the health benefits field.
An active member of the community, Jim currently volunteers with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Greater Toledo and the United Way of Greater Toledo. He is a past president of the board of trustees for Notre Dame Academy and member of the board of trustees for the Toledo Cultural Arts Center–Valentine Theatre. Jim was recently appointed by the Lucas County Commissioners to serve on the Mental Health & Recovery Services Board of Lucas County.
Jim and his wife, Barb, live in Toledo and have four grown children.
