Diamond Resorts International® Delivers an Extraordinary Dining Experience with Chef Adrianne Calvo in Hawaii

MAUI, Hawaii--()--Diamond Resorts International®, global leader in the hospitality and vacation ownership industries, announced today that its second Diamond Resorts Culinary Series event with restaurateur, cookbook author, and local TV personality Chef Adrianne Calvo was hugely successful. The Culinary Series is a new component of Diamond Resorts’ Events of a Lifetime®, an exclusive experiential vacation program that includes major sporting events, superstar concerts, and other destination-focused events. The program was launched in 2013 in order to enhance traditional vacations by delivering once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Diamond Resorts Ambassador, Chef Adrianne Calvo called it a night when “my two favorite worlds collided: Food and vacation.” At Ka‘anapali Beach Club, 125 Diamond Resorts members and VIP guests enjoyed a five-course meal that included Mongolian Beef Brisket and Pineapple Lava Sauce.

“My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves,” said Chuck Lafferty, a member of THE Club® at Diamond Resorts International®. “The food was delicious.”

“We were impressed and it was the best VIP treatment we’ve ever had,” said Renee Washington, a Diamond Resorts VIP guest. “We were thrilled to see our daughter participate in the food demonstration; it was a family fun evening.”

The Culinary Series emphasizes signature menus built on local ingredients, punctuated by Calvo’s trademark Maximum Flavor style. “The opportunity to draw on different ingredients and create an experience where each flavor is memorable is such a thrill,” said Calvo. “And it’s a lot of fun to interact with the guests, to explain what you’re doing or what you’re using and why.” Two more events in the series are scheduled for later this year.
