MARLBOROUGH, Mass.--()--Boston Biomedical Associates (BBA) is proud to announce that Dr. Stefan Schreck has joined the management team as Executive Director, Science and Technology where he will provide domestic and international clients with pre-clinical strategic technology development assistance. “Dr. Schreck has an innate ability to help organizations speed up the process for regulatory engagement by facilitating effective discussions between the development teams, the product end users and regulators” noted BBA President and CEO Lauren Baker. “We are very fortunate to have someone of Stefan’s caliber join the BBA team and I know he will be an invaluable asset to our clients as they develop innovative medical treatment solutions,” she added.

From 1986 to 1993, Dr. Schreck conducted biomedical research at the University of Houston, Houston, TX, the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, and the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. Over the next 23 years, he held senior R&D positions at Pfizer and Edwards Lifesciences, and served as the Chief Technology Officer of Endologix and JenaValve. He also advised several med-tech startup companies and successfully secured federal grant funding.

Dr. Schreck earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston and his M.A. in Aerospace Engineering from the Technische Hochschule Munchen in Munich Germany.

In addition to being the inventor on more than 30 US patents, Dr. Schreck has published 13 scientific articles on a variety of topics associated with cardiac care and fatigue testing along with publications associated with the structure of the human nose.
