PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Norris, Beggs & Simpson Companies continued its recent expansion with the addition of David C. Elkins as President of NBS Real Estate Consulting. NBS Real Estate Consulting provides executive-level advice to individual and institutional real estate owners nationwide, ranging from planning, entitlement, development, leasing oversight, and financial analysis for complex real estate projects.
As President of NBS Real Estate Consulting, David Elkins will be responsible for directly serving clients in an advisory capacity, as well as setting the strategic direction and executing on the growth plan of the Consulting division.

Mr. Elkins has over 25 years of highly diverse experience in commercial real estate, acting as a project manager, receiver, expert witness, workout specialist, and interim resource for a variety of corporate clients including law firms, health systems, REITs, and family-owned real estate enterprises. David held senior leadership positions with Hines, Ashforth Pacific and Schnitzer West before starting The Remington Real Estate Group in 2006. Most recently, he was the Chief Asset Officer of Real Estate and Construction for Providence Health & Services. He has worked with educational, industrial, hospitality, land, medical, office, parking, residential and retail assets throughout the U.S., and in Istanbul, Moscow and St. Petersburg. David Elkins has held positions on several business and community boards, including BOMA and NAIOP. He is a current Trustee for Warner Pacific College. David holds the designation of Real Property Administrator from BOMI. David holds an MBA from the University of Oregon and a BS – Business Administration from California State University – Fresno.
