NFBPA Honors CPS HR Consulting with Forum 2017 Corporate Award for Work with Young HR Managers

CPS HR Grants Human Resources Scholarship to Aspiring Student

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--()--At this year’s National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) conference, CPS HR Consulting was awarded the Forum 2017 Corporate Award for the company’s significant contributions to the NFBPA and commitment to supporting young human resource managers.

The Forum 2017 Corporate Award was presented by Bruce T. Moore, president of NFBPA, for CPS HR’s support over the years as a member of the Corporate Advisory Council. This annual award is given to honor and thank a company for its contributions to NFBPA.

“CPS HR is honored to accept the Forum 2017 Corporate Award,” said Jerry Greenwell, CEO, CPS HR Consulting. “This award represents our team’s commitment and dedication to supporting young managers and aspiring business leaders.”

In addition to receiving the award at the event, CPS HR Consulting granted the Walter Vaughn Excellence in Human Resources Scholarship to Morehouse College student Jordan Randle. This $3,500 scholarship was designed to promote and encourage advancement in the practice of human resource management and to develop strategic leaders who are pursuing studies in the field.

“This scholarship is awarded to students who go above and beyond when it comes to their education. Jordan’s strong work ethic and pursuit of academic excellence make him the ideal recipient for this scholarship. We hope he’ll continue to strive for greatness and look forward to seeing where his future takes him,” Greenwell said.

Randle is a freshman majoring in business administration with a grade point average of 3.82. He was selected as a participant in the Morehouse Business Association’s 30th Annual Spring Symposium, is active in the Dollar and A Dream club, is a Morehouse Admissions Ambassador, is a member of Morehouse’s Business Association, including the Investment Finance Club, and is vice president of his residence hall.
