COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GEICO is growing faster and adding more customers than ever. “What we need now are more adjusters to give our customers help when they need it,” said Don Robinson, regional vice president.
To recruit more talent, GEICO is opening its auto damage training program to candidates during a special hiring event Wednesday, May 31, and Thursday, June 1, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at GEICO’s Columbus-Polaris office, 470 Olde Worthington Road, Suite 200, Westerfield, Ohio.
GEICO will provide paid professional training for college and technical school grads to join its expanding team of auto damage adjusters. Qualified candidates for auto damage positions must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. They need solid computer, grammar and multi-tasking skills and the ability to work well with customers.
Those selected for the trainee program will learn the business during an extensive nine-week training program, including three weeks at the GEICO Auto Damage School in Ashburn, Va.

We want to hear from candidates who are up for the challenge of upholding GEICO's reputation for outstanding customer service and helping to deliver on our promise to be there for our clients when they need us the most."
Candidates who attend the upcoming hiring event on May 31 or June 1 will have the opportunity to network with GEICO associates, learn more about career opportunities and complete an on-site interview.
