Frances Jeter, former Group Vice President, Internal and External Affairs at Spectra Energy, and Kelly Kimberly, former Managing Partner of Kimberly Public Affairs, will help drive the firm’s expansion in the Southwest with support from SVC’s team across its six other offices.

Prior to joining Sard Verbinnen, Frances Jeter was Group Vice President of Internal and External Affairs for Spectra Energy, a pipeline and midstream company, with responsibility for internal and external communications, crisis communications, financial and investor communications, executive positioning and communications, media, stakeholder outreach, sustainability, brand and graphics and communications services. Ms. Jeter previously served as Vice President of Public Affairs for Duke Energy Gas Transmission, a predecessor company of Spectra Energy. She also was Chief Marketing Officer for Bracewell and held marketing positions at ExxonMobil, Westinghouse and the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County. Ms. Jeter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Most recently, Kelly Kimberly served as Managing Partner of Kimberly Public Affairs for 15 years. The boutique agency provided strategic public relations planning, media relations, crisis and issues management, corporate social responsibility and opinion research services to a diverse set of clients ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to startups to high-profile individuals. Ms. Kimberly’s industry expertise includes energy, water, transportation, chemicals, technology and food. Prior to launching her own communications and public affairs firm, Ms. Kimberly served in leadership positions at Enron Corp., including Senior Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing Communication for Enron International; Senior Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility, Diversity and Community Relations for Enron Corp.; and Senior Vice President of Marketing, Public Relations and Competitive Intelligence for Enron Broadband Services. Ms. Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
