WHAT:

IRI’s Larry Levin and Sally Lyons Wyatt will be among industry leaders at the 20th annual Sweets & Snacks Expo, taking place in Chicago on May 23-25, 2017. Levin will kick off the morning education sessions with his presentation, “Confectionery 2017: State of the Market,” in which he will outline the current state of the confectionery category across all consumer segments and retail channels. Levin’s session will provide the latest trends, insights and growth opportunities for confectionery leaders. Lyons Wyatt will highlight the latest research on snacks in her session, “Snacks 2017: State of the Market.” She will present a brief look back at how the category performed as a whole over the last year, while also providing a glimpse into future areas of opportunity for snacks retailers. In addition, Lyons Wyatt will participate in an innovation panel with other industry thought leaders to judge the latest new product innovations in treating and snacking.
