PEORIA, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RLI Corp. (NYSE: RLI) -- RLI Corp. announced today that Thomas L. Brown has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. He will continue to maintain strategic leadership responsibility for RLI’s accounting and financial operations.
Brown began his career at RLI in 2011 as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, where he led the company’s financial strategy, planning and management and maintained appropriate internal controls throughout the company’s operations. Prior to joining RLI, he was an audit engagement partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he led teams serving Fortune 500 insurance companies. Brown is a CPA with 37 years of industry experience, and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL.
