GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Six Flags Entertainment (NYSE:SIX), the world’s largest regional theme park company, in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment, is rolling out the red carpet—Six Flags style—for deserving Moms from coast to coast. As a kickoff to the company’s Super Hero Summer, 20 Super Hero Moms and their families will receive VIP treatment at Six Flags parks across North America during Mother’s Day weekend.
“Mothers are the ultimate Super Heroes and we want to show our appreciation for all that they do to support their families, communities and professions. We are honored to host these incredible women in our parks for a full day of fun, thrills and surprises,” said Six Flags Senior Vice President of Marketing Brett Petit.
The Super Hero Moms and their families will begin their visit with an official welcome from the Park Presidents at each location. Their Mother’s Day gift packages will include complimentary park admission and parking, Gold Flash Passes, meal vouchers, souvenir sports bottles and Wonder Woman™ capes and headbands plus other surprises.
The women being celebrated come from all walks of life. They are educators, First Responders, elected officials, doctors, nurses and breast cancer survivors. Other honorees include, active and retired members of the military, corporate executives and community organizers like Tillie Burgin, a former educator and missionary, who founded Mission Arlington in 1986 to support area families in need. “Miss Tillie,” as she is affectionately known by all, was named one of the Great Women of Texas in 2016.
