NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) announces the appointment of Dana Bunting to the role of Managing Director within KBRA’s Investor Relations group.
Bunting brings to KBRA over 30 years of experience across investment banking and rating agencies. She joined KBRA from Goldman Sachs, after 21 years in the public-sector and infrastructure group within that firm’s investment-banking division. There she served as the lead banker for numerous state and city governments, including infrastructure, transportation, housing, and higher-education clients throughout the United States. Bunting began her career at Standard and Poor’s, where she spent nine years as a credit analyst in the ratings groups responsible for mortgage-revenue bonds and structured finance. She later developed criteria and chaired rating committees. Bunting holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Gettysburg College.
Bunting was the first recipient of the Women in Public Finance “She’s Our Hero” award, given to public-finance professionals who demonstrate excellence in their field.
“KBRA is delighted that Dana recently joined our continuously growing company and we look forward to her expanding our investor-outreach effort across the fixed-income markets,” said Kate Kennedy, Senior Managing Director of Investor and Media Relations at KBRA.
