Campbell Soup, Land O’Lakes and Lenovo to Share E2open Case Studies on Automated Decision-Making at Gartner’s Supply Chain Executive Conference

E2open to also unveil Harmony: The one place, in the cloud, to operate the connected supply chain.

AUSTIN, Texas--()--E2open today announced that executives from its customers Campbell Soup, Land O’Lakes, and Lenovo will present at the 2017 Gartner Supply Chain Executive Conference taking place May 23-25 in Phoenix. E2open will also announce its latest innovation in next generation supply chain technology that dramatically improves end-to-end supply chain effectiveness for large complex supply chains.

Customer Sessions

The overall theme of the case studies is to share how leading global companies are deploying the latest supply chain innovations, such as artificial intelligence and integrated business planning to fuel their automated supply chain planning and execution transformations.

  • Campbell’s Journey to Dynamic Algorithm-based Supply Chain Planning
The journey started more than a decade ago when Campbell’s pioneered the use of demand sensing, bringing algorithms and machine learning to supply chain planning. With the continued evolution of demand signal repositories, cloud computing and increased availability of daily retailer data, Campbell’s has leaned in again, leveraging masses of point-of-sale data to take algorithmic demand planning and S&OP to the next level.
  • Land O’Lakes: Thinking Outside the Box…Bringing Demand Sensing to Ag
Land O’Lakes will share how it is leveraging Demand Sensing in a seed-to-shelf supply chain, how it enables the company’s “Marketplace Back” vision across its entire enterprise, and the benefits they have seen so far.
  • Lenovo Server Acquisition: Journey from Integration to Transformation
In late 2014, Lenovo acquired the x86 server business from IBM. Rather than this transition being just a “lift and shift,” it required full integration with Lenovo’s existing legacy server business. While putting in context of the larger Global Supply Chain migration, Heather Holt of Lenovo will share her personal experience of integrating teams, processes, and tools in the S&OP planning space, along with future supply chain transformation plans.
