MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BDNA®, the leader in delivering the most trusted and comprehensive technology asset information, announced today that it is developing a new Scoped Application for the latest ServiceNow® release, Jakarta, to be available in summer 2017.
Building on the success of BDNA’s existing integration with ServiceNow, the new integration will be delivered as a Scoped Application, which simplifies the management and maintenance of the solution. The new integration continues BDNA’s proven success at autopopulating and maintaining ServiceNow with comprehensive information about hardware, software, manufacturers and categories.
BDNA benefits ServiceNow deployments by dramatically reducing implementation time and improving the accuracy and timeliness of asset reporting, analysis and action by leveraging Technopedia®, the most trusted and comprehensive technology information source.
Technopedia categorizes more than 1.8 million products from 34,000 suppliers with 2,500 daily updates, providing business-critical information such as compatibility, support dates, end-of life, migration plans, current manufacturer and version, and much more.
“Using BDNA with ServiceNow as an integrated solution can save hundreds, or even thousands, of hours in implementation time, as well as potentially millions of dollars in costs,” BDNA President Walker White said. “BDNA’s new Scoped Application will enhance that success in the Jakarta release.”
In addition to comprehensive enterprise IT information, BDNA also provides market data such as product end-of-life dates, security vulnerabilities and more that creates a single version of accurate and relevant information to support all core IT Service Management (ITSM) processes in ServiceNow.
BDNA is partnering with Crossfuze to develop the new integration. Crossfuze is a ServiceNow Gold Services Partner, an elite designation reserved for ServiceNow partners who have mastered their implementation practices.
“Crossfuze and BDNA’s new Scoped Application for Jakarta will activate new, powerful and valuable functionalities for both the ServiceNow and BDNA platforms,” said Jacob Andersen, vice president of platform development at Crossfuze. “BDNA also enhances Crossfuze’s Asset Management Turnkey, and vice versa, all the while proving the investment of both platforms to the C-suite.”
