Thursday - Apprenticeship Forward Conference Brings Together Experts, Leaders to Expand Apprenticeship

WASHINGTON--()--On May 4-5, National Skills Coalition and New America will host a ground-breaking gathering of 500 local and national leaders dedicated to expanding apprenticeship. These experts will discuss how we can help millions of students and workers apprentice with thousands of companies to develop skilled careers. The two-day event will kick off with speeches from government and business leaders before digging deep into the social and economic potential of apprenticeship - and the policies and programs that will allow more workers and businesses to benefit.

     

WHO:

National and State Leaders including newly confirmed Secretary of Labor, Alexander Acosta (invited), Governor Dan Malloy (CT), Delegate Cory McCray (MD), Noel Ginsberg, Chairman & CEO at Intertech Medical, Inc. and Founder and Chairman of CareerWise Colorado.

 

Business leaders from major corporations including Amazon, Aon, Siemens, Kroger, UPS, The Hartford, Microsoft, and several manufacturing companies.

 

Educators from community colleges and technical schools.

 

Apprentices who have lived the apprentice experience firsthand.
