Next Level Administrators Disrupts the Status Quo with Visual Data Analytics

BRADENTON, Fla.--()--Next Level Administrators (NLA), a workers’ compensation claims and program administration firm, announced today it will demonstrate E3VA, its visual data analytics platform, at the RIMS conference taking place April 24 to 26 in Philadelphia, PA. E3VA is a next generation data platform integrating policy, payroll, premium, and claims data that empowers NLA clients with actionable insights to plan, execute, and drive consistently improved results to achieve organizational goals.

A Motivated Culture

From inception, NLA’s objective was to be different from other workers’ compensation TPAs. NLA’s President Andy Olwert said, “NLA’s culture sets us apart from the competition. Our entire staff is data-driven, results-oriented and intent on improving the bottom line of our clients.” Olwert continued by saying, “With E3VA, we are able to access data to benchmark past performance while collaborating to develop goals and corresponding strategies to improve results monthly, quarterly and annually at the client, management and adjuster levels.”

Beyond Predictive Modeling

Recently, Olwert was asked to elaborate on why using visual data analytics in the workers’ compensation industry was important. Olwert said, “Our vision was to create a platform to solve the data and performance issues plaguing the workers’ compensation industry. That could only be accomplished by combining the strong fundamental skillsets of our people with critical data that provides focus and holds everyone accountable for results.” Olwert further stated, “E3VA is the means to disrupting the status quo in the workers’ compensation industry so we could not afford to not invest in this technology. It takes the blinders off by providing meaningful data on a daily basis that allows clients to make better decisions faster and deploy resources more effectively to lower loss and operational costs.”

Workers’ compensation administration is complicated due to the number of people collaborating to ensure the best results for the injured worker. To minimize the complexities, NLA uses E3VA to monitor a program’s performance, appraise its own performance to ensure a culture of accountability from the adjuster to management level, as well as evaluate the performance of vendors. With E3VA at the users’ fingertips, users will quickly identify and address potential claim or risk exposures before they become a setback to goals and increase loss costs.

“We have eliminated spreadsheets by uploading data nightly from source claims and policy systems, making the preparation and management of reports quite easy. E3VA is also a data quality control tool identifying data that falls outside of the data quality standards and allows the data to be corrected during the upload process,” said John Sells, Chief Data Officer and lead architect of E3VA. “Investing in E3VA continues to demonstrate NLA’s commitment to deliver leading-edge capabilities and improved results to its clients,” stated Sells.
