Consolidated-Tomoka Land Co. Announces New $2.7 Million Land Contract with Preferred Developer of Specialty Grocer

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.--()--Consolidated-Tomoka Land Co. (NYSE MKT: CTO) (the “Company”) today announced the execution of a new land sales contract with a preferred developer for a specialty grocer for approximately 9.0 acres of land at a price of approximately $2.7 million, or $300,000 per acre. The land is located at the northeast corner of LPGA Boulevard and Williamson Boulevard, adjacent to the Company’s Concierge office property and the Integra Sands Apartment property. The latest closing date contemplated by the contract is the fourth quarter of 2018.

The Company issued the following statement:

"We are very pleased to have executed the agreement to sell approximately nine acres at the northeast hard corner of LPGA Boulevard and Williamson Boulevard to the preferred developer of a potential specialty grocery that will provide a much needed grocery store to the growth along the I-95/LPGA corridor. By adding this land sales contract the Company’s pipeline of potential land transactions now represents approximately 2,200 acres, or approximately 27% of our land holdings, for aggregate sales proceeds of approximately $83 million."
