SAN FRANCISCO--()--In 2013, Gametime pioneered the use of high resolution, panoramic, in-event photography to help fans find the right view for the right price. Panoramic in-event section images provide users with a true-to-life catalog to select their ideal vantage point at the last minute.

Today, the company introduces further evolution in live events with the launch of FanViews. The new feature provides Gametime users the ability to offer immediate feedback on their experience via a simple review process. Upon their next visit to the app following an event, a rating system offers a quick way to help other fans. In addition to seat quality feedback, fans are prompted to submit photos that capture their experience including:

  • Personal or group photos showing the vibe in that section
  • Field view from their specific seats providing detail to the row and seat levels
  • Any unique features near the section:
    • Trademark venue locations
    • Unique details including nearby concessions or phone charging stations

FanViews aggregates content submitted for each seat then presents it within the checkout experience. Future buyers can use this information to learn more about particular seats. Gametime will utilize this data to further optimize its curated seat listings. With this rating system, FanViews creates another way for Gametime to ensure the highest quality locations for buyers.

“When we introduced high resolution, in-event photography, we significantly advanced the fan experience,” said Brad Griffith, Gametime Founder and CEO. “With FanViews, we’re taking that insight to the next level by helping fans learn from a community of other fans. FanViews will also capitalize on advances in image recognition in the medium term, giving fans even more detail in the coming months.”

Gametime continues to drive product innovation through the introduction of key features such as Snap & Sell and Connect in 2016. Snap & Sell enables fans to quickly take photos of any tickets they possess and upload them immediately to the Gametime marketplace. Connect introduced a prospective social network for fans to see what events their friends are attending, where they are sitting, and join them by purchasing the nearest available seats.

FanViews is currently in limited release with its complete offering to debut later in 2017.
