DALLAS--()--The Lindell Foundation, a private non-profit founded by MyPillow® inventor Mike Lindell, named Samuel T. Smith as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective April 1. In the role, Smith will aid in the development of global initiatives to facilitate charitable exchanges of humanitarian assistance to the poorest of the poor across the country and around the world.

“I am excited to welcome Sam to our team as we seek to address the issues affecting individuals in desperate need throughout the world,” said Lindell. “His experience in executive leadership and international development is a great addition and a visible commitment to excellence by our organization.”

Smith joins The Lindell Foundation after a successful and lengthy career in branding, marketing and global leadership. After spending many years in the international apparel industry, over the past decade Smith served as the CEO of Mercy Ships and Medical Ministry International. Under his tenure, these organizations achieved record levels of success in some of the most difficult global environments, due in large part to his specialization in optimizing resources to provide hope to more individuals in need.

“I am very excited to join Mike Lindell and the team at The Lindell Foundation,” said Smith. “Mike is a man of great faith and passion, which he has instilled into the Foundation team. I share their passion for the less fortunate, and the partnership being created is one that will make a substantial impact on the lives of the ‘least of these.’”

Smith is the author of “When Love Heals,” which focuses on delivering love and providing life-changing services to the world’s poor. An internationally recognized speaker, Smith has been approached to speak on optimizing ministry and improving assistance to the less fortunate by the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), various NGO’s, churches, international relief/development organizations, governments and international media.
