INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zotec Partners (Zotec), the industry leader in radiology revenue cycle management (RCM) services, announces a renewed RCM agreement with Desert Radiology (DR) in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the extended agreement, Zotec will continue to provide DR with a full array of RCM services using its proprietary technology and reporting tools, including an expert team of billing professionals to manage the group’s business and keep it abreast of the latest industry policies and regulations.
DR has been serving the Southern Nevada Community for over 50 years. The practice owns and operates seven full-service outpatient facilities offering a full spectrum of diagnostic and interventional services. DR is comprised of more than 65 board certified physicians with subspecialized expertise in the areas of Neuroradiology, Pediatrics, Musculoskeletal, Cardio-Thoracic, Oncology and Women’s Imaging. In addition, DR is the exclusive provider of interventional and imaging services at 10 hospitals in Southern Nevada, and several other hospitals located in Northern Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
DR notes a satisfying relationship with Zotec, mainly due to the company’s industry knowledge, high-level committee involvement, and individual commitment. According to Rich Bodager, CEO of DR, “Our Zotec service team makes it a daily priority to keep us up to speed on healthcare policies and regulations that impact our business, which is so critical in today’s changing healthcare environment,” he says. Bodager also notes Zotec’s reporting tools are second to none, adding, “The Comprehensive Zotec Analytics and Reporting (CZAR) technology has helped us assess payer contracts and viability of existing sites, all of which has contributed to increased collections and financial growth for our group.”
Founder and CEO of Zotec, T. Scott Law attributes Zotec’s trifecta of people, processes and technology as the driving factor behind the successful partnership with DR. “I am proud to say we have leveraged our collaborative team-based approach, innovative technology and detailed processes to help Desert Radiology achieve exceptional financial results since 2009,” he notes. Law goes on to say that Zotec’s understanding of new radiology patient-consumers has also given DR a competitive edge, adding, “Given the rise of high deductible health plans that have greatly contributed to patient consumer trends, we have created a new billing experience for patients that has improved the group’s self-pay collections.”
