The newly created senior leadership position is in recognition of Horvath’s ongoing contributions to the company’s record-setting growth.
In four years with the company, Horvath has helped expand the reach of Dr. Praeger’s health-conscious product lines, top sellers at both conventional and natural retailers. Reporting directly to the company’s CEO, Larry Praeger, Horvath has been instrumental in increasing company field sales that reflected in double-digit growth, driven by millennials and families eager to adopt cleaner, plant-based diets.

Horvath, who was previously senior vice president of sales, is responsible for driving Dr. Praeger’s retail sales goals. In his new position he will work in tandem with marketing on product innovation, starting with the company’s new line of flavorful, plant-driven, heat-and-eat bowls.
An accomplished sales executive, Horvath’s past industry experience includes key positions with SILK/WhiteWave Foods, Sara Lee and Applegate Farms, among others. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Personnel Management from the University of Evansville.
