Samsung’s comprehensive digital signage portfolio including SMART signage will be on display at this year’s show

The comprehensive lineup ranges from the ultra-bright OMD Series designed for indoor environments with high-ambient light where brightness and visibility are the main requirements, to the slim design of the SHF Series that optimizes content using a minimal amount of space. The OH Series designed to withstand the elements in outdoor environments, providing excellent visibility around the clock, even in high-ambient light conditions, will also be on display. Business Benefits of Outdoor Digital Signage

According to a recent study conducted by Forrester Consulting for Samsung, outdoor digital menu boards implemented in Quick Serve Restaurant drive-thrus significantly increase profit and decrease operating costs. Based on in-depth interviews with customers and a survey of 150 QSR operators, “The Total Economic Impact™ Of Samsung Outdoor Digital Menu Boards” study estimated an ROI of 196 percent for a 10-location pilot over five years.

“With the simplification of outdoor display solutions, QSRs are now able to deploy digital menu boards in their drive-thrus much more cost effectively,” said Gazzola. “This study with Forrester shows the real business benefits of digital signage technology, driving a 2.5-percent increase in average order value, a more than $1.4 million profit increase and more than $1 million in savings on labor, administration and printing expenses.”

Ron Gazzola will also host a seminar at DSE with Dunkin’ Brands Director of Digital Innovation Paul Murray to showcase a real-world case study of how Dunkin' Donuts leveraged its outdoor display solutions to enhance customer service and drive revenue to showcase measurable business outcomes. Attendees will have the opportunity to understand why it is important for business owners to work with sophisticated integrators, discover how to use outdoor digital displays to enhance messages and learn why it’s important to embrace the latest technology.
