PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Grammy®-award winning artists The Mavericks will take The Event Center stage at SugarHouse Casino on Saturday, June 10, at 9 p.m., performing some of their greatest hits and songs from their upcoming LP, “Brand New Day.” The Mavericks’ sound is a neo-traditional take on country music, combining Latin rhythms and rock roots. Tickets for the performance go on sale Friday, March 31, and cost $49—$59.
The Mavericks—consisting of singer, song writer and guitarist Paul Malo, Paul Deakin (drums), Eddie Perez (guitar) and Jerry Dale McFadden (keyboard)—combine to create an eclectic sound. “Brand New Day” showcases the band’s hybrid tones incorporating Motown notes, horn accents and bossa nova beats.
