Zinwave Showcases Industry’s Most Cost-Effective DAS at Enterprise IoT Show

System Delivers Wireless IoT, Public Safety and Cellular Services Plus Future-Proof Support Without Hardware Upgrades

DALLAS--()--Zinwave, a global provider of wideband distributed network solutions for in-building wireless, today announced that it will showcase its UNItivity distributed wireless access solution at the Enterprise IoT Summit on March 28 and 29 at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas. In booth 124, Zinwave will demonstrate the industry’s only in-building wireless solution that supports all current IoT, public safety and cellular frequencies and can accommodate the addition of future frequencies without the need for hardware upgrades. In addition to its demonstration, Zinwave CTO Slavko Djikic will speak on the panel, “Deep Dive: Buildings of the Future,” to be held at 1:45 PM on March 29.

The IoT will leverage many different wireless technologies, and building owners must be prepared to support all of them. UNItivity’s wideband architecture supports frequencies from 150 to 2700 MHz, providing access for any IoT frequency. In addition, UNItivity uses a streamlined design that includes just two components: a primary/secondary hub, and a thin, ceiling-mounted remote unit, so installation and maintenance is less expensive than with other, more complex in-building systems.

As an all-fiber system, Zinwave’s UNItivity solution can drive wireless signals for more than a dozen kilometers while delivering uniformly high performance at each antenna location, so it is ideal for smart buildings of any size. UNItivity also delivers the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) because it natively handles a wide range of current and future frequency bands, so expensive equipment upgrades aren’t needed when new bands go into service.

“The Internet of Things is an evolving infrastructure, and building owners need a system that can accommodate many different wireless frequencies and transmission technologies,” said Scott Willis, president and CEO at Zinwave. “Zinwave’s wideband architecture supports every IoT frequency and delivers outstanding performance with the industry’s lowest TCO, making it the best choice for these deployments.”
