DANVERS, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--According to the latest data, the number of confirmed unintentional opioid overdoses in Massachusetts increased 20 percent between 2014 and 2015. Sadly, the increases show no signs of slowing down. In fact, the number of confirmed unintentional opioid overdose deaths in the first nine months of 2016 was 1,005, with an estimated additional 392 to 470 deaths – higher than the number of opioid-related incidents recorded during the first nine months of 2015.
To underline its commitment to the Massachusetts region, Recovery Centers of America (RCA) is searching for the area’s leading substance use disorder specialists and professionals to staff the Boston Center for Addiction Treatment (BCAT) in Danvers as well as its facility in Westminster, and will host job fairs at each location on Wednesday, March 29 and Thursday, March 30, respectively.
The Boston Center for Addiction Treatment seeks to fill approximately 30 fulltime positions and 15 per diem positions. Applicants are invited to visit the center (75 Lindall Street) on March 29 between 1 and 7 p.m.
