Session Details: During this session, Lovejoy will discuss the evolution of cyber hunting, its relationship to traditional cybersecurity operations, and the role emerging technologies can play in reducing the cost and improving the effectiveness of hunting operations. She will also cover how new trends in automation can help reduce time spent investigating a breach from months to minutes.

Lovejoy is a frequent speaker on security, risk, compliance and governance issues at key industry events, with recent keynotes at the Israel Defense Conference, CyberTech 2015, the International Association of Privacy Professionals, SecTor and Hack-in-the-Box. She will continue her active participation as a security thought leader at prominent upcoming events including a featured presentation at Interop ITX in May.

Prior to her role as CEO of BluVector, she previously served as general manager of IBM’s Security Services Division, charged with development and delivery of managed and professional security services to IBM clients worldwide. In addition, she served as its Global CISO and VP of Information Technology Risk. She has been recognized for a wide range of industry accolades, including SC Magazine’s Reboot 25 issue in 2014 as one of the world’s Top 25 Security Managers, a 2012 Compass Award Winner by CSO Magazine, an eWEEK 2012 Top Women in Information Security, a Top 25 CTO by InfoWorld, and a Top 25 Most Influential Security Exec by Security Magazine. Lovejoy is also a member of numerous external boards and advisory panels, including SC Magazine’s Editorial Board, and Grotech Ventures.
