Dr. Jim Grubman Joins Leading Advisory Firm, Cambridge Family Enterprise Group

Dr. Grubman has over 30 years’ experience in private practice as a valued advisor to wealthy individuals, couples, and families. His unique skill set combines psychology, business, finance, healthcare, and law, along with his unparalleled understanding of the psychology of wealth. His areas of expertise include family governance and decision-making, conflict resolution, estate planning and trusts, succession transitions, leadership and next generation development, philanthropy, and family offices. He will help CFEG clients navigate the challenges of affluence, inter-generational conflicts, and family enterprise governance and sustainability.

His work has been included in Malcolm Gladwell’s David and Goliath and has been featured in The Wall Street JournalBusiness Week, CNBC and The New York Times, among others.

A sought-after speaker, Dr. Grubman has presented at national and international conferences and academic programs, including TIGER21, the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning of the University of Miami School of Law, and the Family Firm Institute. He has guest lectured and served as a facilitator in the Families in Business executive program at Harvard Business School. As a faculty member of the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley University from 2004 to 2008, he developed and taught the first graduate-level course in the United States about the psychological aspects of financial advising.
