NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Leumi today announced it has hired Daniel Csillag as a new Group Head for Healthcare on the Northeast Middle Market team. In this role, Csillag is responsible for overseeing and growing the bank’s healthcare commercial banking business in the region. He will report to Northeast Market President Robert Maichin and Eric Halpern, Leumi’s National Head of Healthcare.

Csillag brings more than 20 years of diversified corporate banking experience, all within the New York metropolitan area. He joins Leumi from TD Bank, where he was most recently a Relationship Manager for the bank’s Healthcare group. His responsibilities at TD Bank included courting new business opportunities in the long-term health space and managing TD's legacy relationships.
Csillag also served as a Vice President in TD Bank’s New York Middle Markets group from 2005 to 2013, focusing primarily on private and public companies with annual revenues greater than $75MM. Prior to that, he spent nine years working in multiple divisions of structured finance at the Bank of New York and BNY Capital Markets Inc., including syndications, media, utilities and municipal securities. Csillag graduated from the Columbia School of Engineering and Applied Science and completed the Concordia MBA program in Montreal, Quebec.
