WHAT: The inaugural South Florida Life Sciences Showcase will bring together medical technology, biopharmaceutical, health IT, marine biotechnology professionals and others in the life sciences Thursday, March 23rd, from 9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., at the Miami International Airport (MIA) Conference Center.
ABOUT: This half-day event is specifically designed to showcase the life sciences industry in South Florida and features:
- Keynote presentation by Hugo F. Villegas, President of Medtronic, Latin America
- Discussions on the airport's pharma hub designation and what it means for companies
- Lightning Rounds highlighting successful and promising companies in the region including BlinkBio, Inc., Longeveron and others to be announced!
- Multiple opportunities to connect and with other life science professionals

COST: The event is open to the public. Registration fee is $40 for BioFlorida members and $60 for non-members. There is a special discounted rate of $30 for students and post-docs. Additional $5 fee at door.
