SHANGHAI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--With an expanded display of environmental technologies and products, IE expo China 2017 will be open on May 4-6, 2017 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre with a 80,000m2 exhibition area, 1,500 exhibitors and over 200 speakers.
The output value of China’s environmental industry by 2020 will exceed RMB2.8 trillion (US$404.4 billion) with an average annual growth rate of above 15%. “As the structural reform continues to reshape China, the environmental industry will experience a robust boost and enter an M&A phase as investment floods in. This sector will need to further complete the industry chain, increase the cost-effectiveness and make vertical integration to address the profit-making pressure in a more mature market,” said Zhao Lijun, head of China Environment Chamber of Commerce (CECC).
