Corrigan, “Will,” has joined the company as Director of Implementation. In his new role, Will is responsible for managing hospital partnerships, from implementation of new specialty pharmacies through roll out of new specialty pharmacy programs, including achievement of quality and performance metrics. Prior to joining Shields, Will held several positions at Northwell Health (previously North Shore LIJ Health System), most recently serving as Director of New Venture Operations in Manhasset, NY. In this role, he led the operational team for the health system’s “New Venture” initiatives designed to foster innovation and invest in opportunities that supported Northwell’s mission while generating enterprise value.
Previously, Will was a member of Northwell’s clinical joint venture operations team responsible for integrating and supporting each venture by leveraging the health system’s expertise while simultaneously maintaining the flexibility, innovation, and efficiency of the partner organizations to optimize performance and patient experiences. His portfolio companies included free standing physician-led ambulatory surgery centers specializing in endoscopy and ophthalmology as well as Northwell’s urgent care joint venture with GoHealth Urgent Care.
Will holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business and has more than 15 years of experience in operations, project management, and strategy consulting in the complex fields of healthcare, energy, supply, trading, and logistics.
