LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nevada Virtual Academy (NVVA), a full-time online public charter school, is now accepting enrollment for the 2017-18 school year. The tuition-free public school is available for students in kindergarten through 12th grade throughout the state of Nevada.
NVVA provides a blended program that combines online learning with face-to-face instruction. The school has blended learning sites in Las Vegas and Reno where students can meet and engage with a state-licensed teacher in-person in addition to the virtual interaction.
In addition to core courses in English/language arts, math, science, history, world language, art and music, NVVA offers a robust Advanced Learner Program for students in kindergarten through eighth grade, while high school students can take honors and Advanced Placement® courses. Additionally, the school’s dual credit program, in collaboration with Nevada System of Higher Education, offers qualified juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn college credit up to an associate degree while enrolled at NVVA.
