Nuna Appoints Tamra Lair as Head of Commercial Analytics Business

Nuna Bolsters Executive Bench Following Company Launch, Expanding Commercial Presence

In this role, she will be focused on bringing new data analytic solutions to self-insured employers and their consulting partners.

Nuna’s clients span public and private healthcare payers, including self-insured employers, health plans, and government. Through a uniquely powerful data platform, Nuna securely and cost-effectively ingests, aggregates, and analyzes healthcare information at an unprecedented scale, delivering actionable insights to the company’s partners.

The appointment of Tamra Lair, a healthcare industry veteran with over 30 years experience, is a key strategic hire for Nuna as the company grows its leadership team and expands its commercial business, delivering solutions that bring clarity to health plan utilization, identify opportunities to improve employee health, and contain overall healthcare costs. Nuna’s data platform integrates many disparate data sources to help employers better manage the overall health of employees and their families.

Tamra first worked for the federal government in what is now the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and then at Medstat (now Truven) and Ingenix (now Optum). She also held leadership positions in employer consulting, most recently as Mercer’s National Analytic and Measurement Solutions Practice Leader, where her team supported a wide range of employers with more traditional data warehouses.
