BETHESDA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FBB Capital Partners (FBB) is excited to celebrate 30 years of delivering tailored wealth management, investment, and financial planning services to its valued individual, family and institutional clients. Co-founded by Susan Fulton in 1987, FBB was one of the first fee-only wealth management firms in Maryland and has since grown into one of the largest independent, fee-only firms in the greater Washington D.C. area. Additionally, under the leadership of Fulton and President Michael Mussio, the team is now collectively managing $1 billion in assets.
With an eye toward the future and ensuring the firm’s longevity in its pursuit of delivering valuable financial advice, many of its senior employees will take on new and expanded ownership roles in the company. Fulton will remain in a leadership role as Founder.
“When I founded FBB Capital Partners 30 years ago, it was with the goal of acting in a fiduciary capacity, providing clients with unbiased advice that would help secure their financial future,” said Fulton. “We owe a great deal of gratitude to our clients who trust us to manage their life savings and continue to refer our team to their friends and family. I look forward to guiding our clients and the FBB team to a prosperous future and continuing to work toward these mutual goals.”
“Susan built a foundation that has positioned our team for continued success, and we are grateful for her leadership and vision,” said Mussio. “We are fortunate to have a highly credentialed and loyal team here at FBB, where our portfolio managers have an average tenure of over 10 years with the firm. Their expertise and professionalism drive our client loyalty. We look forward to continuing to support our company culture while maintaining the high standard of excellence our clients have come to expect.”
Michael Mussio (formerly Managing Director, now President) will oversee strategic planning, client relationships, and client investment strategy. Stein Olavsrud (formerly Vice President, now Executive Vice President) will continue to direct FBB’s Eastern Shore office in Easton, Maryland. Laurie Keegan continues as Chief Compliance Officer and Bridget Simpson as Director of Operations.
