BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Altman Vilandrie & Company, a strategy consulting firm focused on the communications, media, and related technology sectors, recently promoted Swope Fleming, Dan Toledano, Jon Wakelin and Timothy Wickham to principal. The four new principals advise the firm’s Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT) sector clients on a range of business and technology strategy issues.

Fleming, Wakelin and Wickham are based in Altman Vilandrie & Company’s Boston headquarters, while Toledano works from the firm’s New York City office.
Fleming worked as an engineer in the semi-conductor industry before coming to Altman Vilandrie & Company in 2011. His areas of expertise span the entirety of fiber infrastructure, Cloud Services, and Internet of Things. His recent client work has focused on long term product strategy, market opportunity and competition assessments, and go-to-market planning. Fleming earned a BSE in Engineering from Princeton University and an MS from the MIT School of Engineering and Sloan School of Management.
Toledano started with the firm in 2010 after founding a web start-up firm. At Altman Vilandrie & Company, Toledano has worked with global TMT companies on numerous critical business issues, including product development, go-to-market strategies, global expansion and financial due diligence. His areas of expertise include fiber, wireless spectrum and infrastructure across international markets. He earned his BA in Economics and Pre-Medicine from Columbia University.
Since joining Altman Vilandrie & Company in 2011, Wickham has helped the firm’s global TMT clients on a variety of critical business issues, including corporate strategy, go-to-market planning, competitive analysis and investment due diligence. His areas of expertise include consumer wireless and broadband, the Internet of Things, unified communications and B2B services strategies. Wickham earned a BS in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and an MBA from Cornell University, Johnson Graduate School of Management.
Wakelin, who joined Altman Vilandrie & Company in 2012, specializes in wireline and wireless networking, 3G/4G/5G wireless networking, and data center and cloud services. His project experience includes assisting network operators in planning and deploying fiber and 5G wireless networks, conducting due diligence on telecom infrastructure and developing go-to-market strategies for clients seeking to expand beyond their traditional core businesses. Wakelin earned his BA in Physics from Dartmouth College, his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and his JD from Northwestern University School of Law.
