NEWARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lime Energy Co., a leading provider of energy services to utilities and their commercial customers, will participate in and sponsor the Policy Perspectives Public Briefing, an event organized by the Alliance to Save Energy in Jersey City on February 22. The event provides an opportunity for an inside look at how the New York Metro area is advancing energy efficiency and resiliency through innovative public-private partnerships and financing initiatives. Lime Energy’s President and CEO, Adam Procell, will speak at the event, joining other energy efficiency experts on a panel focused on leadership and innovation in energy efficiency financing.
“Lime Energy is excited to participate in the Alliance to Save Energy’s event,” said Adam Procell. “This event provides both a great venue to discuss the economic benefits already accomplished through energy efficiency and the areas where the energy industry can continue to expand. We are only scratching the surface of what is possible through energy efficiency.”
Prior to the event, the attendees, which include congressional staffers representing House and Senate committees focused on energy issues, will have an opportunity to tour Lime Energy’s headquarters and will be given a guided walkthrough of a local business that recently received an energy efficiency upgrade. The offsite visit will offer the policymakers a first-hand experience with a small business energy efficiency project. There they will see the economic benefits that energy efficiency can bring to local businesses and communities.
“Lime Energy is a pioneer in bringing the economic benefits of energy efficiency to small businesses through creative solutions and financing that deliver huge savings,” said Kateri Callahan, President of the Alliance to Save Energy. “We are delighted that they are joining this event to share their expertise with local and national leaders, and to provide real-world stories of how companies and organizations can improve their bottom line by using energy more wisely and productively.”
