GOLDEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA) is now accepting applications for the Mining Cleantech Challenge (MCC), a market-driven showcase to be held in Denver, Colorado on April 12, 2017.
On the heels of its successful Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge, CCIA is launching the Mining Cleantech Challenge in partnership with mining leaders from across North America. The MCC will quickly and efficiently provide targeted connections between mining industry operators, OEMs, and clean technology solution providers with the mutually beneficial goal of meeting industry’s needs while introducing innovative cleantech solutions to the marketplace.
“At CCIA we continue to focus on our ability to act as a facilitator between sometimes disparate industry sectors,” said Chris Shapard, CCIA’s executive director. “The Mining Cleantech Challenge platform allows CCIA to leverage a proven model that brings together innovative early-stage clean technology companies and leaders from the mining industry to address challenges facing the extractive energy industry.”
The application process is now open for cleantech companies to showcase their innovative products and technologies. Specific categories have been identified as presenting the greatest opportunities for improvements in mining operations. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
Advanced materials or chemicals
