THREATQUOTIENT RECOGNIZED AS BEST SECURITY COMPANY OF THE YEAR AT 13TH ANNUAL INFO SECURITY PG'S GLOBAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS

ThreatQ’s open and extensible threat intelligence platform empowers customers to focus resources on the most important and relevant risks to their business

ThreatQuotient, a trusted threat intelligence platform innovator, today announced that they have been named a Silver winner of the 2017 Global Excellence Awards® in Startup of the Year and a Silver winner in Best Security Company of the Year (Software). The company’s threat intelligence platform, ThreatQ, was also awarded Bronze for Innovation in Enterprise Security. All 2017 Info Security Product Guide Award winners were announced at a ceremony on Feb. 13, 2017.

“ThreatQuotient’s mission is to provide security operators, threat analysts and business executives with a tool that allows them to achieve faster, richer insights for making accurate decisions and improving their security posture,” said John Czupak, CEO of ThreatQuotient. “This award is a testament to our ability to deliver more fine-tuned controls over threat intelligence, and offer more streamlined threat operations, than any other solution can provide.”

Companies are being challenged by too much threat data, and without comprehensive context, it is hard for operators to identify a starting point for investigations. ThreatQuotient has purpose-built the ThreatQ platform to address this challenge by offering automated prioritization of intelligence based on customer-defined parameters. The platform combines and correlates data from multiple sources, both external and internal, and calculates a unified opinion with a single, transparent score. This unified opinion alleviates operator confusion in the case where threat data is rated differently by various providers or is lacking context behind how the rating was determined.

The power of the ThreatQ platform also lies in its open, extensible architecture, allowing for strong integration and interoperability with existing infrastructure. ThreatQuotient’s new Partner Integration Program, including 50 partners, is a robust ecosystem that leverages the ThreatQ Open Exchange through a software development kit (SDK), application programming interfaces (APIs) and a comprehensive set of industry-standard interfaces to fully integrate with the equipment, tools, technologies, people, organizations and processes that protect your business.

ThreatQuotient’s new Professional Services team will partner with customers to assess, design, and build their threat operations program to fit their needs. ThreatQuotient, together with their channel and managed services providers, offers services designed to ensure that threat intelligence will be operational and optimally utilized within a company, including program assessment and definition, platform design and training, integrations training, and custom connector development and implementation.

ThreatQuotient will be attending the RSA 2017 Conference from Feb. 13-17, and attendees will be able to see demos of ThreatQ at booth S2812 in the Moscone South Expo Hall.
