This figure is down 2.6 percent compared to $35.7 million in January of 2016. Handle for the month was $454.1 million, up 1.2 percent from the $448.7 million wagered in the same month in 2016.
Foxwoods’ contribution to the Connecticut Special Revenue Fund in January 2017 is $9.1 million, bringing the cumulative contribution to the state since Foxwoods opened in 1992 to over $3.9 billion.
