SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Open-NFP, a worldwide, community-driven organization focused on research and development in datapath offloads and acceleration for SDN and NFV applications, announced today its spring series of webinars focused on SmartNIC programming techniques, applications and usage. The five session series runs from March 29 through May 17, 2017. Registration is open and free for all webinars. Open-NFP (which stands for Open Network Function Processing) fosters open and free development of server-based networking applications that require hardware-based acceleration to deliver higher performance and efficiency.

Since its inception and the first annual developer conference in November 2015, Open-NFP membership has grown and now hosts over 35 open research and development projects from academia and industry.
