SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Spoken Communications, leading innovator in Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) solutions, today announced the appointment of Brian Silverman as executive vice president of sales. Brian brings more than 25 years of sales, marketing and executive management experience focused primarily on early stage, rapid growth high technology companies. He has also held various sales and marketing management positions with Hewlett Packard, Sterling Software, JetForm and Platform Computing.
“With a long history of managing high-growth companies, Brian is the perfect fit to help Spoken achieve its goal of entering new markets as we prepare for our next phase of rapid growth,” said Mo Afshar, CEO of Spoken Communications. “His extensive contact center market knowledge will prove immensely valuable to both Spoken and the customers we serve. He brings a deep understanding of the challenges that both large, global brands and smaller, regional organizations face in meeting the expectations of the increasingly digital consumer.”
“When I chose to join the founding team at Five9, I felt that I was about to embark on something that would ultimately change the future for contact centers,” said Silverman. “Likewise, I believe that Spoken will transform the customer experience with truly unique and inventive technology that can help businesses get dramatically more value from the conversations they are having with their customers. I am convinced this company will own the future. As Spoken continues to bring new offerings to market, there will only be more opportunities to expand our reach.
