Young Professionals Society to Highlight School Choice

NASHVILLE--()--Young professionals will be discussing school choice at a happy hour 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 at the Butcher and Bee in Nashville.

The Young Professionals Society, a joint initiative of the Beacon Center and America's Future Foundation, strives to educate and equip young adults in the Nashville area on the principles of free markets, individual liberty, and limited government.

The event will take place during National School Choice Week, which will be celebrated at more than 21,000 events across the country Jan. 22-28.

"We are pleased to announce the focus of our January Young Professionals Society event will be school choice to celebrate National School Choice Week. At the Beacon Center, we believe an education is vitally important for a person's success and that parents can best decide what education path suites their child, not the government or a zip code,” said Hannah Cox, outreach coordinator for the Beacon Center. “That is why we will continue to advocate for school choice in Tennessee. This event provides an opportunity for us to inform active young leaders in our city about this important issue."

RSVPs are required. For more information or to RSVP, contact Hannah Cox at hannah@beacontn.org or (615) 383-6431.
