DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As part of the voluntary recall of sweet cream buttermilk powder made by Valley Milk Products LLC, an ingredient in All American Seasoning, Inc.’s sour cream and onion seasoning, Condor Snack Company is voluntarily recalling certain lots of 2.5, 6 and 11 ounce Kroger® Brand Sour Cream & Onion Potato Chips because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
Salmonella is a bacteria that can cause diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps and most individuals recover without treatment. In some cases, diarrhea may be so severe that the patient needs to be hospitalized. The elderly, infants, and those with impaired immune systems are more likely to have a severe illness.
NO ILLNESSES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS RECALL HAVE BEEN REPORTED.
