Marks Paneth Expands Employee Benefits Package to Include Paid Parental Leave

NEW YORK--()--Leading accounting, tax and advisory firm, Marks Paneth LLP, announced today its new firm-wide paid parental leave policy. Effective January 1, 2017, new mothers and fathers, including adoptive parents of children under the age of 18, will be eligible for up to 6 weeks of fully-paid parental leave.

The new benefit will be available to primary caregivers—the individual who has primary responsibility for the custody, care and control of the child immediately following birth or adoption—and to non-primary caregivers once the employee has completed a full-year of employment with the firm.
