400 Members and Partners Celebrate Achievements, Plan Continued Innovations

WELLESLEY, Mass.--()--At the 2016 Renaissance Alliance Annual Meeting, 400 insurance agency members, insurance company partners, key vendors and staff recently met at the Hyatt Regency, Newport, Rhode Island. The annual event is comprised of a highly interactive two-day program designed to foster learning, provide a forum for collaborative networking and review Renaissance Alliance goals and achievements retrospectively and prospectively.

President of Renaissance Alliance Bruce Cochrane said that the theme for this year’s meeting –Sharpening Our Edge – highlighted the importance of maximizing technology, digital marketing, and other sales skills. Cochrane says, “The meeting is a time for our agency members and valued partners to recommit to our shared vision and rededicate ourselves to taking our Alliance to even higher levels of excellence and innovation."

Highlights of the meeting included:

  • Carrier & Vendor Pavilion, featuring 22 booths showcasing new products and initiatives
  • Renaissance Alliance Member Central, a learning and sharing lab featuring training programs and demos of new services and products
  • Showcase of the proprietary Renaissance Alliance Data Model that delivers key performance indicators and client segmentation analyses for the development of competitive strategic sales and growth initiatives
  • A keynote presentation on the future impact of Artificial Intelligence on Independent Agencies by Renaissance Alliance President Bruce Cochrane
  • A 2016 year in review of Alliance achievements and demonstration of its dedication to its members’ future success by Renaissance Alliance Vice President Heather Cochrane Russo
  • Webinars on sales & service, data analysis, cyber liability, social media marketing and market segmentation
